Parent's Night Out

Bowling this Wednesday!

Kinder and Rec parents: This Wednesday we will be going bowling! Our petting zoo will still be coming to us-in the evening instead, to our Open House/BBQ! Please make sure to send your child with non-scuff shoes to bowl in:) We will be leaving at 9.30 and returning 12.30. Wahoo!!

Pirate Adventure!

Kinder and Rec parents: Our field trip tomorrow is Pirate Adventures! We leave at 9 am so please ensure your child is there prior to this time. Can't wait to show you all the great pictures we'll take!

PHOTO DAY

Green Apple Photography will be coming for our photo day on June 7th at 9.30 am! Our Nursery, Preschool and Toddler classes will be getting their photo taken. If your child does not usually attend on a Friday, please feel free to send them that day so that they may have their photo taken. We are looking forward to seeing all our little ones with their best smiles!

Going buggy!

In light of our current bug theme, we will be having an entomologist come to our Preschool, Toddler and Nursery classes! We are so excited to welcome Manisha Kulkarni Woodstock, a parent of a child attending our centre to speak to the children on Friday, May 31st :)

Make A Wish

Tomorrow evening is our Make A Wish Night. We will be selling our Make A Wish stars for $2.00! All of the money will go to make a child's wish come true! The children will be selling the stars as you are picking up at the end of the day and the teachers will be helping the children to hang their stars on our wall. Help us to make some wishes come true!!

The Preschool program would like to welcome Miss Breanne to their class! Miss Breanne has her Early Childhood Education and loves working with children. Welcome to the team, Miss Breanne! Miss Katie will be joining the Rec program as of May 2nd. Welcome back Miss Katie!

Missing glove

We are asking for you help in locating a missing glove. It is very expensive and are hoping someone may have just taken it by mistake. It is size small, black with a silver pattern near the zipper, it says "KOMBI" on it and has the name Jackson on the tag. If your child has taken it home, please contact Stephanie. Thank you!

New faces!

Hello everyone! Over the next few weeks you will be seeing new faces among our Tiny Hoppers family. As our centre is expanding and we are gaining new children into our programs, we are hiring new staff. We apologize for the shuffling around of teachers, but we are only trying to find the perfect fit for each teacher in each program. You may be seeing Miss Melanie or myself in the programs in the next few weeks, helping to train new staff. Also, Miss Katie will be returning next week to work with our Rec children! For those of you who remember her, you know that she has been with us for the past few years and we always welcome her back when she is done her school year. She will also be helping to train some of our other Rec girls. We care about your children so much, we want to ensure they have the best possible experience with us. Therefore, we appreciate your patience and cooperation as our team grows! --Miss Stephanie

Summer Camp

Just a reminder that our Kinder and Rec parents have until April 30th to hand in their summer camp registrations before we open the spots to the public. Don't miss your chance to sign up for our super fun camps!

With the warmer weather we've been having, we are asking parents to please send your children with splash pants and rain boots. The yard can get muddy and we just want to make sure your children are properly dressed :) Please make sure ALL clothes are labelled so that they do not get lost. Thank you for your cooperation!

Play Classes

Join our super fun play classes! If you are a Tiny Hoppers member, they are FREE! If you aren't a member, they are free until the end of March and then our new session starting in April will be only $79! Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11:15--call us to see which class is best suited for your child :)

New Security System

We now have a security system installed in all of our front entrance doors. When you arrive to drop off or pick up your child, please push down the talk button on the intercom and state your name and who you are picking up/dropping off. Also, please make sure you close the door firmly behind you. This will help us keep your children safe! Thank you for your cooperation.

Bath time!

Is bath time a struggle in your house? Try this: add food colouring to water in ice cube trays and freeze. When it's bath time, pop them out and add them to the tub. Your child will love trying to catch the cubes and enjoy making colourful designs in the tub!
